Audi A6 - 64 plate Ad Blue Fault

Featured Replies

Hi,

so I filled my ad blue up on Saturday, since then have done around 100miles or so, but the sensor hasn’t automatically reset. Now I have around 65miles left and no idea what’s wrong, I haven’t dropped my car into Audi or a specialist of any sorts. Hoping someone on here might have an idea, maybe a common easily solved issue.

I did get a mate to run a cheap diagnostics, but that didn’t say there was any issue. Then again it was a flimsy looking bit of kit. So not sure what it would of told me.

I’m new to Audi - 6 month owner,

Thanks in advance.

How much AdBlue did you top up with? there is a minimum quantity (around 5.7 litres) before it will register replenishment. If you say you have filled yours then I would say the sensor that detects the fluid threshold has not seen the adblue pass the limit so the car believes no AdBlue has been topped up. Check the sensor and connector too.

Where is the senser/ connector located, as I'm experiencing the same problem with the A5, adblue was topped up after the warning,  I've drove 200 miles since but no reset still.

Thanks
