URGENT HELP Boot Handle Lock Cylinder Removal

URGENT help needed today (hopefully). OK, this is a job I've done before on my previous Audi A4 B6, but this B7 isn't playing ball.

I am trying to remove the entire boot handle (where the number plate lights are). I can get all the bolts undone and that part is loose, ready to pull off (same as on my old B6)

BUT, I cannot for the life of me get the effing lock cylinder to come off the back of the handle (back of cylinder is in picture)!. If that doesn't come off, I can't remove the boot handle.

I have looked online for the last 2 hours, also been fiddling with it for another 2 hours and nowhere can I find any information relating to getting the lock cylinder off the boot handle.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!
