Juddering during acceleration

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, just joined and would like to ask a question regarding an issue my Audi has recently developed. I have an A4 3.0 tdi B7 auto and during gradual acceleration from around 20-30mph there is heavy juddering from the engine. I'm assuming it could be a driveshaft or gearbox issue. It doesn't do it when I accelerate hard but only during gentle acceleration or just cruising around that speed. I haven't driven the car outside of town yet to see if the problem continues at higher speed and rpm. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

I have this same problem, did you ever manage to fix it?

Mine has been on going for over a year now, i have turbo and throttle fault codes on diagnostics but not sure if it is either of those.

The ESP button/light has also stopped working, im not sure if the actual ESP itself is working or not, but the button does nothing and i dont get the light on the dash anymore.

Any ideas!
