New A3 broken already!

Good afternoon everyone,

I am posting this thread in the hope of receiving some advice.

I've just been through the painful process of finding the right car and deal, and ended up settling with an ex demonstrator A3 S Line 1.5 tfsi. The car was registered January 2019 and has 7000 miles on it. Part of the deal was that Audi was going to refurbish one of my damaged alloys on my 15 plate 1 Series, so when handing my car back to the finance company, there would be no unexpected costs, and therefore able to get a better deal on the A3 as my 1 Series was in negative equity.
Anyway, after receiving a phone call yesterday telling me they wouldn't be doing any work on the wheels as there was nothing they could do ( one has a big dent which I was already aware that wouldn't be able to be fixed, I was just hoping they'd give them a spruce up) I was then met by a engine fault light swiftly followed by a badly performing and sounding engine. I forgot to mention I picked this car up three days ago, so this isn't something I expect to be dealing with.
Now 1, I feel I've been conned a bit with the wheels not being refurbished on my car, I signed for the A3 under the pretence my current 1 series would be touched up so it could be handed back without any issues,
and 2, I know i have a 30 day/1000 mile agreement with Audi where if the fault isn't rectified, they need to find me a replacement.
I'd just like to hear peoples thoughts and opinions on this as I don't really know what do next.

Thanks in advance.
