Jerk Issue

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a 2007 Audi A6 Avant TDI, I love it.  Monday is began jerking around 2000rpm.  Really annoying, I thought it might be injectors and poured some Wynns Gold Formula in the tank.  This didn't not work. My £40 Amazon VAG tool was telling me it has a MAF error of Implausible reading.  I purchased a new MAF and fuel filter.  I fitted them last night,  The MAF first, this did nothing!  Then the fuel filter, this did nothing!  Really frustrated now, so lunch time I unplugged the MAF and started the engine and drove it.  No issue what so ever!  Lovely drive, lots of power.  Now, do I re-connect it, leave it unplugged or buy and new Air Filter and plug the MAF back in??

Any help is appreciated.

Jay

This is odd as it should not drive well at all with maf disconnected.

are all hoses from maf to the inlet manifold connected and leak free as this can cause issues.
