Hi everyone,  new to the forum so sorry no doubt the answers to this is on here somewhere!   Just bought my second Audi a4 avant 16 plate, it only has nav prep and I would like nav installing. Main dealer wants over £800 which I consider a bit steep, are there any cheaper options or is main dealer the only option? thanks for any replies

I guess that is your only realistic option as it is purpose built into the car so other items are out. You will probably need the Main Dealer's know-how to link it into the computer system. I found the same sort of issue when I thought about adding an Audi Cam dashcam system. The original is very expensive so thought I'd buy a top range model dashcam from Halfords but they looked at my car and said there was no way they could hard wire it into the system as it would cause problems..... ho hum... :)

Hi Dean. I've only just joined so you may already have solved your problem with sat-nav. But if not it might be worth contacting an independant company. I had my Nextbase dashcam hard wired into my Audi soon after I bought it by a local specialist.

Just a thought!

Regards,

Chris
