Clutch pedal springing up high

Featured Replies

Hello

I noticed a few days ago that there was a Beige plastic pin/bolt a few inches long in my foot well.  Then today my clutch pedal has started resting much higher than usual with loads of play in the pedal before there is any pressure.

Any ideas if this bolt holds the pedal to the arm etc? The car drives fine but wondered if it would be something simple I could do myself.

Hi, did you ever get an answer to this problem? Exact same thing just happened to me. Clutch pedal now sitting a good 2 inches high.

Hello Andy,

Unfortunately this poster joined and posted some 10 months ago, and hasn’t returned to the forum since the following  day.

I would suggest you PM him, in the hope of getting a response.

Perhaps you could let us know if you do.

Kind regards,

Gareth.
