Gear Box oil And FOG lights

Hi looking to change my gear box oil on my 2008 1.9tdi manual 124k, is the standard manufactures oil ok to use or should I go for something better. Also what size are the fill and drain Allen key bolts. Finally I’m looking to add some fog lights will the wiring loom already be there and if so where should I start looking thanks for any help in sorting this 👍

What makes you doubt Audi's recommendation? I have not read any untoward comments about it except for the price.
