Hi, I have a mk2 Audi TT and early jan I couldn’t turn the ignition it was like this on and off for a week then really stuck, took it to local garage and they said I need cylinder barrel and it needs   Coding for my car and will come from Germany, over 2 months later I’m still waiting and just been told the factory has shut so they are looking for another supplier. Is there another non gen part I can use as it looks like incould be waiting a few more months!

Not sure if you have looked on EBay, but there are a couple of aftermarket barrels listed on there with delivery by next Tuesday.
