A4 B9 rear fog light

Featured Replies

Having imported my 2017 A4 Avant 3.0tdi 272 from the U.K. to France, I need to get it the French MOT equivalent. Problem is, the single rear fog light is on the wrong side.
The car has the led rear lights with sweeping indicators. One light unit has the led in for the fog light, the other hasn’t.
I bought and fitted a euro spec light unit which includes the led fog light bulb. Everything works apart from the fog light.
Any ideas please?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Clive,

Sounds like you are going to have to cobble up a length of wiring to link both sides, if no such wiring exists. Will that interfere with any warning messages??
I must say, it surprises me that these are only fitted with one high intensity fog light as standard.
Kind regards,

Gareth.

Thanks Gareth. Yes, only one in the UK. Will try to take the feed from the current one over to the new. Fingers crossed. Just don’t want to end up at a dealer trying to explain what I want in French then being stung for xx euro for them to alter any coding.
Thanks again.
