Headlight not working

Featured Replies

Hello I’ve got an issue with my Audi A6 2012 (C7) the driver side headlight stopped working due to water damage , I’ve now changed the light and both modules and the light is still not working, however when the light is switched to the other side it works as it should but when replaced to its original side ( drivers side) it doesn’t work! Is there anything we might be missing or any other modules that may need replacing?. all the light control fuses are okay and no cable seems to be apparently damaged. Any ideas?

Hello Charlie,

Have you done a voltage and earth check at the headlight connection?
Kind regards,

Gareth.

Hello Gareth, yes we have a there is no voltage coming in.

Many thanks Charlie.
You now have some tracing back to do then.
If this were mine, I would now be investing in an hour’s time with a trusted local auto electrician.
Kind regards,

Gareth.
