No apple car play , no USB,  usless wireless  charger in a 2017 car not impressed.  

It's not impressive but a couple of points;

Your 2017 model was spec'd in 2010 - the new model was released in 2018

I'm guessing that you bought it second hand - so did you not check before you bought it?

There were also either 3 or 4 model options for the 2010-2017 A8. 

No usb is unexcusable on any car post 2012 my GS450H  had them 

Have you checked if it has an AMI connector? 

There are a few posts on here about AMI to USB.

It does, if I get the very bad vibration  rattles  from the rear shelf,  I may get the caraway upgrade,  the issue is so bad I will hand the keys  back if not sorted.

If you're unhappy with the car then send it back - life's too short. 

Yes the shelf at any volume  over 8 it vibrates like mad , Sub turn down to 0 and bass turned down .
