Vesuvius grey new car- Cant find another!!

Featured Replies

Hi All

I will update on the full story soon but basicaly i retuened the 1st A6 Avant I bought and under the 30 day policy have ordered a different car due to the faults with the first.

The new car looked really dark but not black in  the photos, turns out it is Vesuvius grey, I havnt seen another one of these for sale anywhere and its no longer and option on the audi website. Does anyone else have one, would it have been a 1 off colour or whats the story behind it?

Thanks

Hey @Bott - I've got a Vesuvius Grey A6 S-Line saloon. It does indeed look black depending on the light - but when sun shining it really shows the darker grey as well as the metaillic particles/flecks. Not sure about the history of the colour - I'm in Ireland but my car is originally from UK.

Hi, I also have a "Vesuvius" grey, 50 tdi 2019.
