Hello Leanne,

Thanks for being in touch and sorry to hear of your issue.
Sounds like battery failure/below par. Can we take it the battery is the original? If so, it would make sense in terms of service life with use if the stop/start system.
If it were mine and the battery is the original, I would simply order a direct replacement from on-line suppliers such as Tayna, Battery Megastore etc ( there are more - and no connection) - it should be with you tomorrow. I only buy Varta/Bosch in their 5 year warranty grade (silver topped).
It is almost certain that the new battery will need to be coded to the car.
Kind regards,

Gareth.

Hi Gareth, thanks for your reply, put the booster pack on and it started no bother, took it a 15mile drive, then the minute I stopped the car it's dead again , looks like it will be a new battery.... Great !

Many thanks

Leanne

15 miles is nothing .. put it on charge overnight with a "proper" agm charger .. it "might" recover... but it might not ... always worth a try IMHO

To put in context ... a 95AH battery is "flat" at about 50% charge ... so call it 40 AH.. therefore it "needs" 45 AH of charge to be recharged to full. An alternator will shove out a max of about 20 amps into the battery .. so in 15 mins you have put back 5AH !!  well short of acheiving anything !

I ordered the bosch starter battery, but sadly this didn't fix the problem, iv out my car into the local garage who put computer on and it threw a code up which pointed to the mains fuse or a relay ,cars been stripped down but that's not the problem either, 😢 mechanic has phoned Audi to see if they have any incline to what it could be .
