Car vibrates from steering wheel and accelerator pedal at speeds above 60mph

Featured Replies

I noticed my Audi starts to vibrate and high speeds through the steering wheel and the accelerator pedal and there is a kind of pulsing hum from the front of the car. I had my tires checked and balanced today but the issue still remains. I have noticed my left cv boot has a small leak very small could this be the axle starting to fail and cause this vibration.

any help would be appreciated

Hello Evan,

Does light braking affect this, and/or is it any worse after moderate braking?
If the answer to these is no, then I would be getting the driveshafts and wheel bearings checked, together with all suspension bushes etc.

Kind regards,

Gareth.

No braking doesn’t affect the the vibration in the pedal or the steering wheel I’ll have to check the wheel bearing and bushes and the rest ahah
