Hi do you mean the light range control unit, if so its under the scuttle cover on the outside of the car on the side where the fresh air sensor [peculiar brown/black thing] is mounted.

Its a small back box and the connector plug becomes corroded, mine was only like it one side so the left hand beam was searching for coins in the gutter, cleaned it and the lights levelled as they should.

Had a look this the one under the washer fluid bottle to the left
