Audi A3 2010 1.6 Diesel - Coil light flashing once again

Featured Replies

Hi there everyone!

So one week ago I took my audi to get its MAF as well as its fuel injectors replaced. Nothing to do with each other, but my coil warning light came on after some motorway driving and it was followed by the engine light too. The fuel injectors? Well I had misfiring, so I just did it all whilst at the garage.

Anyways, today has been my first motorway trip since it came out if the garage, and although they stated the coil light fault code was related to the MAF, it has only but just came back on again. If I turn the car off or drive a small distance, it won’t come on. Very weird scenario, as it is a brand new MAF, the code is related to the MAF (according to the garage - will go there and ask again) and I got no clue!

any recommendations or past experiences?

Glow plugs?

Glow plugs?

I ran an OBD scan as the scanner arrived today, and it says fault code P0101... But I replaces the MAF two weeks ago?

Sure, but you've changed the MAF sensor and still have a problem. Coil light typically indicates glow plugs.

If you have/know anyone with a multimeter it's a 10 minute job to check them.
