Grille badge

Featured Replies

Hi again! A typical new owner with lots of questions I’m afraid. The grille badge on my 2016 S5 is a little dog eared and I want to replace it. Does this involve removing the grill as I can’t see any other obvious wa6 of doing it. Many thanks.

Hi Mike

I replaced all the badges on my Avant Black Edition to black. The front badge is held on by plastic clips. Start at the bottom with a thin screwdriver or a trim kit and work your way round. It pings off eventually.  Accurately measure it as they vary from year to year. The side and rear badges fishing line and evostick remover to clean up with. I bought all the badges from Ebay for around £25.

Hi Tony. Thanks so much for taking the time to help. Presumably fitting the new one is just “push and fit”! I’ll replace all the badges but the grill badge has seen the most action!

Mike

No problem. Keep your fingers out of the way as they snap on quite tight.
