Paul1981
Hi I’ve joined as I wanted to get feedback before I purchase the car. I’m looking at buying something like this: https://www.whatcar.com/audi/a6/estate/50-tfsi-e-179kwh-qtro-black-edition-5dr-s-tronic/97224 Does anyone know a realistic MPG when running on the petrol engine? I generally drive around 100 miles a day, in London this is split 80 on the motorway / dual carriage way and 20 in town traffic. Other days could be further away, maybe 150 motorway miles. Currently driving a Nissan Navara which isn’t the best on fuel. Appreciate your input
Steve Q
Think you'll be expecting in the 50s for mpg. Less round town if just running on the engine.
Paul1981
You think 50’s mpg from the petrol engine running on the motorway?
Steve Q
Yea. My experience of petrol hybrid Kia niro I had as a courtesy car was 55mpg on motorway and that was a few years ago.

Not that bothered about having a hybrid but made perfect sense with the BIK on company cars. Did a lot of research before placing the order * found these two reviews quite useful regarding fuel consumption with & without the battery and also in the different modes: https://www.fleetnews.co.uk/cars/reviews/audi-a6-tfsie https://www.drive.co.uk/audi-a6-saloon-50-tfsi-e-quattro/ These are obviously reviews for the saloon, but I wouldn't have thought they'd vary too much for the Avant.
