Paul1981
Hi I'm looking to change our Discovery Sport for a Q5, there are a couple of options and plug in hybrid is one, the car is generally used for school runs and pottering around, it may be on the motorway once or twice a month, I wasnt looking for a hybrid, just liked the look of the car. Can anyone give me realistic mpg on the hybrid and does anyone know how much the batteries are to replace? I appreciate Audi guarantee them for 8 years but I think that basically means they will have 80% like after 8 years, the car I'm looking at is 2 years old, if I kept if for 3 or 4 years I'm wondering would it sell as the potential buyer I presume would be cautious of the 5 year old battery. These are the two I'm looking at: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202305197542847?advertising-location=at_cars&atmobcid=soc5&fromsra&include-delivery-option=on&journey=PROMOTED_LISTING_JOURNEY&make=Audi&model=Q5&price-from=35000&price-to=40000&radius=30 https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202304266703248?advertising-location=at_cars&fromsra&include-delivery-option=on&journey=PROMOTED_LISTING_JOURNEY&make=Audi&model=Q5&page=1&postcode=me22lt&price-from=35000&price-to=40000&radius=30 Boot size is a concern due to fairly big dog, in the discovery its no problem, I'm considering the BMW x3 but not sure if the Audi or BMW is bigger Thanks
Steve Q
The batteries if they go wrong can cost up to 8-10k at least I believe.
