Hi all, Had issue with handbrake sticking for a while and the other day it triggered a few lights.
Start/stop fault
Abs fault
Cruise control fault
Traction control fault
Parking sensor fault
Headlight fault.
All abit strange, anyone had anything similar?

Dont fancy sending it Audi and they replace everything when maybe it might just be one  of the above.

Cheers

Thanks Harry,

Have you searched various threads where multiple warnings show up?
Kind regards,

Gareth.

Thanks Harry,

Worth a topic search under ‘ Multiple warning lights’ or similar.
First thing to check would be the battery efficiency - Halfords should be able to do that for you.

Perhaps you could let us know how you get on.

Kind regards,

Gareth.

Well there’s the likely answer to your problem then Harry.

£180 for a replacement battery?
Tip (1) :- Type you registration number into on-line battery specialist suppliers such as Tayna or Battery Megastore ( there are others).
They will list a number of alternative makes at varying prices.

Tip (2) :- Buy good quality at competitive prices. I never buy cheap batteries, but buy premium brands and grades at most competitive prices. Beware, even top grades such as Varta/Bosch, Exide etc. have differing  grades of the same battery type within their range. I alway buy with at least a 4 year warranty grade. Have been using Varta/Bosch, but bought an Exide (Premium, not Excel-important) and impressed so far.

The supplier will suggest you check the battery dimensions, its capacity in terms of Ah, and it’s Cold Cranking current (CCA) against your current one.
Perhaps you could let us know how much you will save via. this route Harry.
Kind regards,

Gareth.

Hey mate. Just a update, took it into Audi and whats causing it all is the abs pump.

All wires etc were fine.

Its either buy a new one (£1500) or send it off and hopefully get it repaired.

I looked into second hand ones which were alot cheaper but Audi have said it will be more costly buying second hand one and having the pain of trying to get it coded in.
