The part became obsolete in 2023.

I have searched for a new or second hand one online. A VW/Audi parts finder service has scoured UK Dealers & in Germany without success.

I located one in Japan with a rogue trader, but nothing was sent to me. Now got a refund from Paypal.

Breakerlink & partfinder have produced nothing. It looks like I will have to scrap the car.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Charles, and apologies for not providing any additional links for you to explore. I think your post demonstrates the need for posters to list where they have tried, to save time and effort, and suggesting duplication.
Sounds  rather drastic to scrap it Charles. Haven’t you come across anyone (in caps) who is breaking the same model?
