Front wiper fail

Featured Replies

Hello folks, driving home in a down pour the wipers set on auto and all at once they stopped upright... Hmm interesting I thought!

After checking fuses etc I checked from motor plug and had a live.  So I found a second hand motor but his also didn't work?

Do these have a separate relay? I have looked and I don't seem to have the rectangular double size relay??? I'm stumped, when I turn ignition on the motor will move about a cm round then nothing... Help!

In my case, the immediate cause was a poorly fitted windscreen plastic after cleaning the A/C cylinders. As a result of the incorrectly fitted cover, the wiper mechanism was subjected to a shower, the grease residue hit and the wipers stopped.

Hello Dany from the ‘World’, could you do us a couple of kindnesses:-

(1) Perhaps reword your last post, so we can better understand what your situation actually was.
(2) Change your profile location from ‘World’ to some meaningful  location.
Many thanks.
