Hi all,

Newbie here,

I've been looking for a nice MK1 S3, a lot available have been heavily modified and been to the moon and back.

I understand that they can be a right money pit if I'm not careful and end up costing a fortune to sort out.

I've seen a couple up for sale, one seems to be pretty mint to be fair with 57k on the clock, my question is, is there anything in particular that I need to look for, and what is a fair price for an 8L in good nick and low miles in 2024?

Any advice would be much appreciated

Speaking from an owner from a similar aged Audi (A6 C5) Interior trim is hard to come by and some external trim is becoming short supply.

Service history is key and make sure there's no smell of damp ect of water ingress. Check footwells for damp carpets.

Make sure all electronic items work as they can be expensive to change.
