Brake wear sensors

Featured Replies

My previous BMW had brake wear sensors, does the Audi A1 1.4 (2016) have these as well?

Thanks,

Hello Alex.
I believe so.
If you enter your registration number into on-line factor sites such as Parts in Motion, GSF etc. and search ‘ bake pad warning sensor’ then you should get confirmation via. the part being listed.
Are you depending on such sensors to alert you to the need to renew the pads Alex?
If so, not good practice.
Kind regards,

Gareth.

Ok thanks. No, I'm aware it's best to check the pads and discs as well.

I don't think it has brake sensors and Audi a few months ago relieved me of £2k for doing all the brake discs and brake pads, one replacement hub and one replacement brake calipers as they were unable to get the original ones off without using a blow torch as the someone had over torqued the bolts.
