BAP Posted May 20 Share Posted May 20 Hi Q5 has any one purchased a oil dipstick ? 60k and have to buy oil dipstick to check manually yes can be done via mmi but there nothing like being able to carry out physicaL Any idea on the actual oil consumption per 1000 miles ? Magnet Posted May 21 Share Posted May 21 Hello Bruno, Apologies, I don’t know if it is possible to modify the oil suction pipe to take a conventional dipstick, but hopefully someone will come along on here to help you with this. Re. Oil consumption:- I can see your Q5 is 2023, and so it can be expected that it’s early oil consumption will be higher than it will be when it has some mileage under its belt. To give you a better idea, we would need to know what mileage the vehicle has now covered, how much oil has it consumed during that mileage - assuming it hasn’t yet had its first oil change.
