Prospective A4 Owner here ....

Featured Replies

Looking at a 2019 A4 MHEV 2L TFSI, I can't seem to find out for definite if this is belt or chain.

I have found things saying both but in no definite terms, if it's belt I need to factor in the cost of this replacement into the purchase.

If it's chain I should hopefully have a couple of years with the car to contemplate that situation.

Thanks in advance

I've also been reading about the MHEV horror stories, from what I've seen of the vehicles listed there were no A4's on there but that still doesn't fill me with confidence 😞

Looks like you got it Jamie from your info - must update mine, as I also got one a week ago!

I saw a 2019 a4 mhev for sale in Peterborough and it was well cheap at £10,995. It had done 100k miles but couldn’t get any info regarding the mhev system. Must have been a short manufacturing life by Audi. Ended up buying a 65 reg 1.4 tfsi
