New car broken :( (07934 and 09127)

Hey 

just bought an A6 (love it) 

however on way home it went into limp mode. I can stop restart and it goes off but soon come back on 

when I got home I plugged into Carista and got codes 07934 and 09127

 

can anyone help me

Not sure as I literally just bought it. Have asked the previous owner who didn’t have long either

Hi you omitted to tell us if its diesel or petrol the codes will mean different things for either model.

Ir would be worth getting the battery professionally tested because defective batteries can play havoc with the car's sensitive electronics. I stress a professional test because a simple multi meter reading of 12.5 volts will not reveal any internal faults.

Let us know the outcome of the test before we explore other causes for limp mode.

Hi the codes given do not register on my coding listing, therefore I can only surmise that the scanner you have is for older models or not capable of reading your car correctly I would suggest you get it scanned elsewhere or invest in a new reader OBD Eleven being about the best mid range system and not too expensive, but if you intend to keep the car it will pay for the system in record time.
