Spare wheel

Featured Replies

HI

I just bought a SQ5 2018 with glue and a compressor where the spare wheel should be ! Do I have to get rid of the moulding holding the sub woofer ?

Do I get a collapsible tyre ? all those questions. The car has upgraded 21” wheels.

kind regards

Welcome Graham, and thanks for joining.
There have been many posts on various models on the subject of replacing the goo and compressor with an actual spare wheel.
It would be well worth doing a forum search on the subject.
Kind regards,

Gareth.

Hello, apologies for resurrecting this subject but despite much searching on this and other forums I have failed to find a definitive answer to the original question.

I am seriously considering buying a 2024 SQ5 and would like reassurance that a spacesaver of some sort can be fitted under the boot floor with the subwoofer inside.   From experiences in the past with sometimes misinformed Audi sales guys, I  would prefer the opinion of an SQ5 owner.

If the answer is yes, an Audi part number would be great.

Many thanks

John
