Hi guys, I am looking for a 1.0 tfsi chzd engine, [2017) (used or reconditioned) with low mileage and service history,  car is sitting at moment with piston through block ahh!  Had a look on ebay, cannot find any with service history

Hi any second hand engine you buy from any place will only have a milage and a short warranty, they dont do service history at vehicle recyclers.

You are unlikely to do so, and even if you do find one with a service history it will not be worth the paper it is written on. In my opinion you would be better served by buying a complete secondhand engine and have it reconditioned yourself, however that will not be cheap.

Thanks guys,  I am also finding it hard to find a garage near me to do the job,  any ideas for a garage/mechanic near dumbarton/glasgow,  

An internet search showed several independant Audi garages in the Dumbarton/Glasgow/Clydebank area. Have they all refused to take on the job? (Note that I would not recommend an affiliated Audi dealer.)
