MMI keeps going to telephone

Each time I start my 2022 q5 it always takes me to the phone menu.

 

this started after I tried apple car play, but didn’t like it so switched it off.

 

is there a way to default it to navigation instead.

Hi.  I’ve not tried that.  I don’t have the plastic bit with the code on.  I didn’t get when I bought the car.

You can do a reboot of the MMI without having to do a full factory rest, this might clear the issue?

I had a similar type of MMI issue whereby the MMI would connect to my mobile phone via Android Auto but would not allow me to use Waze for satnav. I rebooted the MMI and it resolved the issue.

I am not sure if an Audi Dealership would offer to install updated firmware for the MMI, probably want to charge a chunk of $$$ for it?
