19" wheels tyres size and offset

Morning everyone,

Looking to buy a set of 19" oem alloys which have 255/40/19 tyres on them. Looking at door card on the car it states 255/45/19! Will these still work and not mess up speedo and such like. Also will they fit with ET43?

Hi Cliff the car currently has 235 55 18 on it, I was more curious as to if the tyres at that size would be OK after seeing 255/45/19 was on the door card
