AUDI TT Looking To Sell Car For Parts

Featured Replies

Hi there,  Could anyone suggest a website for selling on a car for parts.  We called the RAC and eventually they turned up, the chap said it was a crying shame due to the cars condition (very goodexcellent) that he thought the engine had seized. He asked about mileage etc and he said to advertise car for parts but advise that he believes the car/engine has seized and will need work including a belt (sorry im not a car fan). He gave us a ball park figure of what he reckoned it would fetch but we honestly cant be bothered and would rather pass on to someone that enjoys a project etc etc Any help folks would be appreciated,

Gary.

Am I right in thinking you to get rid of the car in one piece, rather than break it yourself?

You are welcome to advertise it on this forum's Sale section. You should include a good description, an asking price, and what you propose regarding collection/delivery.

I have to add that I think it unlikely you will get more than the scrap value, but you have nothing to lose by trying.
