Just a quick note on the near side front sag. My Q8 is still in the garage. ( 5 months later )  This has been an absolute shambles and a costly one at that! I won’t go into all the specifics but the matter is under investigation, and both the insurance and motor ombudsman are involved.  I’m nearing the end of it,  and hoping my car will be back at the end of this month.

Many thanks for updating the forum Nicola, and really sorry to hear you are still in difficulties and wish you well in getting a resolution in the very near future.

Hi Nicola

May I just mirror what Magnet has just posted and wish you the very best in getting this resolved very soon now.

I think it's quite appalling how Audi have allowed this to go on over a very long time. This would be unacceptable on any car ,let alone one that has cost a considerable amount of money.

So,good luck and if you can, please let us know what the final outcome is.

Thanks Magnet and Frank.

Thank you both for your kind words. I really do appreciate the support. It’s been a frustrating and drawn out experience to say the least, and I completely agree  with you. The whole situation has been nothing short of unacceptable especially given the cost and the brand expectations I’ll definitely keep you updated on the outcome.

Look after yourself Nicola, and remain steadfast in achieving the result you wish for. Fingers crossed it will successfully sort itself out in the end, and Audi will treat you with the respect you deserve.
Regards,

Gareth.

I hope so too Gareth. Thank you 😁

I too would like to offer commiserations to Nicola plus astonishment that this hasn't been sorted yet.  An air suspension strut and its control system is not a particularly complicated piece of electro-pneumatic engineering, it is described in simple terms in the Audi Self Study Program.   So far it seems no-one has attempted the dignostic investigation I outlined in my very first long post in this thread several months ago.  Or have they?   Incidentally, I continue to live with my intermittent slow leak from the top of the strut which I semi-cured with CT1 sealant.  Thank you Nicola for keeping us posted -  I hope you might eventually be able to apprise us of the correct diagnosis of the problem and its cure.
