Q7 Intermittently Won’t Start

Featured Replies

2025 Q7 6Cyl, currently with 850 miles. Since first week, maybe once every 2 weeks, press brake pedal and push starter button, but no response. No noise. Dash lights up but no crank, no start. Then will start after 15 minutes sometimes, next day other times. Dealer says no error codes and can’t replicate the problem. Am now afraid to drive. Has anyone experienced this problem? And more importantly, has anyone had it fixed?

Edward. I have just noticed you are in the USA where the legal situation will be rather different to Britain. Neverthless I doubt that the onus is on you to diagnose defects in a new car. If the car is defective there must surely be a way for you to reject it.
