LHD suspension arms for RHD vehicles

Featured Replies

Hi all.

I've just recently bought an Audi A4 B8 avant 2012. After purchase I've checked front suspension and realised most of the suspension arms bushings are cracked and some of them completely gone. I was about to order the whole set of new arms and links from Autodoc but one of my friends told me that it will not fit as it is made in Germany for LHD vehicles 😅. Personally i don't see how it would be different?

Could anyone with better knowledge advise me please? Or i should stop talking with that friend.

Try Parts in Motion (Exeter) website.
Why Autodoc with postage charges?

Thanks I'll have a look.

I've was looking from Autodoc as they sell complete set instead of selecting parts one by one and still ends up cheaper than anywhere in UK including postage fees.

I know i can afford to spend a bit more and get parts from here if i had too, but that still doesn't answer my original question.

Master-Sport

Fit Meyle HD or Lemforder, that’s about as close to OE as you can get. Febi too.

I did find the whole set of suspension arms in Parts in Motion made by Febi and price was surprisingly low only 400£ for a set. On a compatible vehicle list i found all the variations of my a4 except it was only for AWD. I did enquire parts in motion to see if it fits my car anyway, but unfortunately they got back to me and said no.

So i will try over the weekend to order them separately, just need to find out correct part numbers for my car.

I've had suspension work and drive train done on my RHD currently in Spain and on Spanish plates.

I'm pretty sure no special RHD parts were needed when ordered.
