papa yankee Posted yesterday at 03:17 PM Posted yesterday at 03:17 PM If S line heated seats are installed in an SE model,is it possible to use the heated seats . Is the wiring already installed. I have a spare panel with the press switches. 2016 SE Sportback. Thanks
Steve Q Posted yesterday at 03:34 PM Posted yesterday at 03:34 PM Unfortunately you'll find you'll need the heated seats Wiring harness. Not only that you might find the airbag connector might be different. And you can't just cut off the old connector and solder on a different one as this will throw the airbag warning lights. As such the best way is to remove the airbag from your current seats and put them in the new seats if that makes sense.
papa yankee Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago On looking at S line seats and the SE seats, the connections appear to be the same. Obviously no harness for heated seats
