New 55 owner with a few questions

Featured Replies

Hi!

I just picked up a 2022 e-tron 55 yesterday. I’m coming from a VW Passat and I live in cold Sweden. As such I frequently start the parking heater beforehand so it’s nice and cosy.

In order to do the same thing with the e-tron, do I need the app myAudi? I bought the car used from an Audi dealer but I didn’t get the Vehicle code so I can’t register the car in the app. After some googling it seems like they are charging for a new vehicle code? Does that include the Audi app cost or do you need to pay for that as well? And I’m guessing this app is needed if I want to be able to check how much battery is left etc?

Thanks in advance

Hi Andreas. I have the app and it is very useful. I can't remember how I got it though. I have found the Audi Help line very helpful, I know others have not. I think the App is free.

You call the Audi 24/7 helpline and send them the dlcument that proves you own the car, then they give can remotely assign your car to your 'my Audi' app. Enabling you to remotely warm the vehicle up and check its battery levels etc.
