A3 8P 2011 2.0TDI - Problem with aircon/heating unit

Featured Replies

Hi all. Problem as follows...

Aircon/heating header is off - so no aircon, heating or rear demister.

Headlights have defaulted to 'always on' (when key is turned).

Have replaced aircon header unit - no change.

Have been through every fuse - everything seems ok.

Battery is fairly new and tests fine with multimeter.

Main instrument cluster seems fine -  speedo, fuel gauge, backlights etc - all seem fine.

Does the aircon header unit connect through the instrument cluster or is it a separate unit completely?

Is there a separate fuse or something somewhere that controls the aircon header etc?

Has anyone seen this before or have any ideas, before I pay someone to take a proper look?

Many thanks!

Thanks. I had someone take a quick look but nothing obvious stood out. Was just wondering if it sounded familiar to anyone before I paid for a deeper dive into it.
