Poor DAB reception

Featured Replies

I've had my A8 3.0 TDI for 7 months now and really enjoying the overall package. The only niggle i have is the poor DAB reception in certain areas. My wife's 2017 Ford Fiesta gets better reception. Has anyone have a similar experience and resolved the problem.

Mark.

DAB has always been patchy depending on geography, so I guess it will be worse than normal in your region.

Having said that, many radio reception faults are caused by a poor aerial connection so it would be worth checking yours as a first step.

Thanks for the reply. I'm assuming the aerial is located in the roof shark fin?

Hi

I didn’t see reply yet but I have black edition A4 2012 with BO DAB similar issue

it only works on BBC stations anything just cuts out change to FM it works

I had the 4 years and it had a new shark fin and aerial amp in the C pillar when I first had it

is there MMI issues / SW that just gets out of date on these ?

any fixes or help appreciated
