Q3 clutch issues

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 2017 Q3 1.4 TFSI with only 35k miles on it. I have recently noticed that my clutch pedal is getting stuck just after the biting point. It does go into gear and I don't have any other issues with the clutch or gears but I will be shipping the car abroad in the next 4 weeks and i don't want any surprises when I am abroad.

I rather I change the clutch whilst I am in the UK but I would appreciate some help if anyone else has had similar issues and what they did about it.

Thanks

Yes the pedal goes up to its normal position but it goes up with a slight judder.

If the clutch is cable operated I reckon the cable is seizing and needs to be replaced. If it is a hydraulic clutch something more serious is happening, and you may need to change it or at least take it off for inspection.
