Featured Replies

Hi guys will a space saver wheel for Audi a6 c7 fit on my newer model 2019 c8 i bought 145/60/20 but says c7 on it any help tks.

Welcome Des.

You don’t tell us what diameter wheels you have fitted.
Sorry to state the obvious, but if you have already bought it, then why not trial fit it on the back and front of your car?
Please let us know how you get on.
Regards,

Gareth.

I got a spare wheel for the wheel shop it as about £160  and genuine Audi part

Des, apologies for chasing, but you seem to have posted and not returned to the forum since. Would you do us a kindness and have a read of the ‘New members please read’ thread, and then come back to us please?

Just a heads-up for others:
I had a space saver folding wheel from an A6 C7, but it doesn't fit in my A6 C8 S6 Diesel.
The issue was mainly due to the subwoofer placement and the overall height of the spare wheel — it simply wouldn’t sit properly in the wheel well.
So even if the size looks compatible, be sure to check the actual fit before relying on it.

Hi

Sorry to hijack the thread but I’ve just bought an A6 Avant Launch Edition (registered in May 2025) and have the space saver wheel from my previous A6 Avant 2021 model. I’ve had a look in the new car’s boot and there appears to be a false bottom but my question is…will the space saver fit if I can actually figure out how to get the false bottom out without wrecking the thing?

Any input would be gratefully received Cheers

Do you perhaps have a hybrid now?

Yes, it’s one of the newer MHEV+ models so the electric motor kicks in when moving away from junctions, lights etc rather than just helping the diesel out when on longer journeys.
There’s a false bottom in the boot but not sure what’s underneath it.
