Retrofit Keyless go system on a3

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried aftermarket keyless go systems on a audi a3 8v? I'm adding 2 links to two different kits. If anyone has experience with these systems, what are their pros and cons? As far as I've researched, this system wants the key to remain in the keyhole to remove the steering wheel lock and sacrifice one of the original keys. The main thing I'm mostly interested in is remote start and keyless go. Main question is how does it work at all, does it display any error codes?

The car is an Audi A3 8V 2019 without keyless entry and start system.

Curious to know if you ever got further with this or heard anything from other people. I’d love to do this to my A3 too as the original key and start barrel really annoy me.

Nope, I haven't received any information anywhere about whether and how to do this. I'll probably just keep it as an idea and just buy another car later that already has this function. I think it's too risky to do this if there's no information about it. But instead I'm planning to install remote start or something like that 🙂
