Hi everyone

I’ve just purchased a 25 plate A6 Avant Launch Edition Plus model and have found there is an intermediate section under the boot floor, storing the load retention set, fastening rings etc. This section appears to be held in place by a couple of plastic retaining buttons, but if the buttons were removed, Is there space for a spacesaver wheel under this intermediate section?

I don’t want to try and remove the retainers and wreck them, if the space is already used for the car battery or the mild hybrid electric motor system

PS The new car has 21” wheels but I already have a 19” spacesaver from my previous 2021 plate A6 so was hoping to use it if it was possible

Even if the 19" fits the well it should not be used as a replacement for a 21" wheel, unless it has a suitably high profile tyre to compensate for its smaller diameter.

Thanks for the info cliff. Just need to find out if I can use a space saver at all with the car.
