A3 8P 3.2 VR6 Manual Gearbox Help

Hi all,

I have a VR6 3.2 A3 8P

For a while now, i've been chasing a sticking clutch - changed the clutch, slave cylinder (twice), accul valve, master cylinder (twice), pressure bled it a million times too.

Then we found crank end float where I discovered the thrust washers were damaged - i've replaced them and the tolerance of movement is back to being acceptable

However after all this, the pedal still sticks and when driving, the clutch pedal has a mind of it's own

The only other thing is the gearing inside the box - I'm opted to build a second gearbox but I'm wondering if people can help on if i can run a better box (i.e. 02M instead of 02Q)

My gearbox seems to be the following - 02Q 300 041 EX or 02Q 300 015 BX 

Any help would be wonderful, I'm at my wits end with this thing now
