what are door handle/boot sensors?

Apparently you touch the sensor pad on the door handle and it opens the door, the boot you slide you foot underneath the bumper and it opens the boot. I was told it would've been a £2.5K upgrade from the factory!!

i'm pretty naff with doing things myself, i imagine getting a professional to retrofit folding mirrors will cost a couple of thousand?

Had a look on a few sites - closer to a grand for standard folding mirrors. Add another £500 for auto-dimming. Honestly - it's daylight robbery. I currently push mine in! 😁
