When was drivers manual added to the car MMI ( A6 C7 & C7. )

Featured Replies

Been looking at various C7 and C7.5 to buy.

Can anyone let me know when the driver's manual was added to the MMI system.

I'm a bit confused, as I've looked at some 2015 A6s that don't have it in the MMI, and then there seem to be some 2014cars for sale that do have it?

Thanks

Mine is a 13 plate and has it in the MMI. I'm thinking of selling ... just going in for mot on the 4th.

weird!  Is there a way that it can be uploaded to the mmi, or is it just as it comes when it leaves the factory? (  I appreciate it's a pretty trivial feature though in the scheme of things! )

That strikes me as an strange choice by Audi. If you have an electrical or MMI fault there is no way to refer to the manual to solve the fault. I would prefer to have the manual independent of the car. A downloadable pdf for example or even, dare I say it, a paper manual.

Think Audi still gave you the hard ( paper copy ) of the manual, - it's just a nice 'toy' to have in the MMI.
