My 'new to me' 2004 B6 Cabriolet 3.0L quattro Sport is a bit of a project.  Perfectly driveable but cosmetic stuff needs sorting:

Inner control surfaces (steering wheel/function switches) are dirty and 'sticky'.  It looks to be mostly grime and dirty finger accumulation over 21 years but is there anything I should/should not use to clean them up?

The inevitable glovebox lid hinge snapped (Ali Express kit inbound) and if I lubricate the damper as suggested, will it lose all damping - as it appears to do for most Youtube demos?

Ditto the centre armrest lid catch repair, kit ordered.

Something making the hood liner droop in a couple of places:  I can find a few references to what usually fails but nothing beyond a picture of a broken bit of plastic and a cord.  Any info gratefully received.

Driver's side inner sill plastic trim connectors snapped and gaffa taped.  Likewise, grateful for any pointers if anyone know of a source of light grey bits.

Driver's door electric seat memory selector switch illuminated and seems jammed, so from what I see in the manual I guess it's stuck in the 'OFF', or disabled position?
