Resetting brake codes after brake change

Featured Replies

I have had my brakes changed, but my car's "brake pads" warning light is still on.

I also have a light that says "service due", but I don't know why. I have had all of the requirements taken care of.

Please advise.

Thank you

Likely a brake pad warning sensor at  fault .

Service light is possibly the oil n filter service is due ...  Or whoever did it last ,didn't reset it.

Right.

When everything was replaced, the code was not cleared because he didn't know how.

He also told me that I needed to take it to the dealership to get the "service due" light turned off.

Please advise
