Hello all - I guess this is not specifically an A6 C7 query!

I was just wondering if there is a recognised mechanism for obtaining a spare/duplicate locking nut 'key'? I checked the current security lock nut key I have .... but it has no imprinted code.

Whilst I've never actually lost/mislaid a key nut in the past, there have been a few 'near misses ... and having a spare one in the house might be a sensible investment if just for peace of mind.

Thoughts welcome (ChatGTP suggested Halford's might do them - they don't!).

If you wander into the Parts Dept. of your local dealership, they should be able to consult the build record, find the code and order a spare one for you.
